Acworth Turkey Chase

The Acworth Turkey Chase returns to the Historic Downtown District on Center Street on November 21, 2026. This annual Thanksgiving tradition offers a 5K run/walk through Historic Downtown Acworth and along Lake Acworth, as well as a 2K walk. The event is an official Peachtree Road Race qualifier, giving participants another meaningful reason to include it in their Thanksgiving-season plans. Early registration is $20 for the untimed fun run and $30 for the timed event. Participants also bring a non-perishable food item to benefit the Tackle Hunger Program.
